LIBRO
This volume is a collection of essays in honor of Corrado Mangione, one of the fathers of the logic renaissance in Italy in the second half of last century. In order to represent all of Corrado Mangione’s variety of interests as well as his intellectual curiosity, the subjects embraced are not limited to the logical field but spread over the History of Logic, the History and Philosophy of Mathematics and the Sciences, the Philosophy of Language. More than three generations of scholars have contributed: the collegues who founded the Italian logical research with Corrado Mangione, their students and friends, down to the youngest researchers. The authors come from different universities (Bergamo, Bologna, Cagliari, Firenze, Milano, Parma, Pisa, Roma, Salerno, Sassari, Siena e Torino) and different departments (Philosophy, Mathematics, Computer Science), reflecting the wideness and size of the Italian logical research. It is noteworty that also two distinguished foreign professors contributed with their essays: Krister Segerberg (Uppsala) and Imre Toth (Regensburg).
